Wholesale Production Terms & Conditions Shipping
Effective October 14, 2026. Applies to all orders placed on or after this date.
Cancellations & Payment
This is a custom order - no cancellations, refunds or partial credits will be accepted.
Payment by ACH is preferred, or a 3% credit card processing fee will be assessed.
Quotes & Pricing
Quotes are valid for 15 days unless stated otherwise and are based on the specifications, quantities and decoration listed. Any change to specs, quantity, logos or packaging may change pricing. The final invoice supersedes all prior quotes, proposals and estimates.
Deposits & Payment Timing
Production begins upon receipt of the deposit stated on the invoice (typically 50%). The remaining balance is due before shipment is released. Late or partial deposits will delay the production and delivery schedule accordingly.
Shipping & Freight Estimates
Shipping and freight figures are estimates based on carrier rates on the date quoted. If the full deposit is received by the date stated on the invoice, any additional shipping fees will be billed separately but will not exceed +/- 5% of the total shipping estimate. If the deposit is late, or the quote expires, freight will be re-quoted at current market rates and the +/- 5% limit no longer applies. Ocean freight rates are set by carriers and can change significantly during peak season (August–December).
Duties, Tariffs & Customs
Unless the invoice states a landed or delivered price that includes duties, import duties, tariffs and customs fees are billed at actual cost and due before release for delivery. Classification is determined by our licensed customs broker. New or increased government tariffs, surcharges or trade actions taking effect after the quote date will be passed through at cost.
Carriers & Delays
Orders may ship via UPS, DHL, FedEx, ocean or air freight carriers and freight forwarders. Riviera is not responsible for failure or delay in delivery caused by carriers, vessel rollovers or blank sailings, port congestion, customs examinations, weather, or Force Majeure.
Risk of Loss & Acceptance
Once delivered to the shipping provider, risk of loss and damage shall pass to the Buyer. By submitting payment, you acknowledge your formal confirmation and acceptance of these terms.
Riviera Order Process
Sending a PO starts your order.
You will receive an online payment link to start the order.
Orders begin production once the deposit stated on the invoice is received.
Once we receive a PO it triggers dozens of processes, including ordering of thread, scheduling of looms, and movement of inventory from one warehouse to another. Every one of these processes costs time and money.
A PO is literally sending a contract to start production with the guarantee that it will be paid.
Because all of our projects are custom, there are no cancellations and no refunds.
- This is written on every one of our invoices.
Approvals
You will receive a virtual proof to start the process.
If requested, we can also provide a stitch-out proof.
Please note: Our approval process is not a "go/no-go" decision point to continue the order.
The purpose of the virtual & stitch-out proof is to catch any issues with the art.
Art approvals cannot stop or reverse the production process.
These policies ensure that we can deliver premium textiles, with fast production, at low prices.
